Elfego Jacob Orona

Elfego passed through the gates of Heaven on November 20, 2014 and into the waiting arms of our Heavenly Father and the promise of eternal life. Elfego Fego Orona was preceded in death by his mother, Lynda Marie Paynter Orona, his grandparents, Elfego Orona, Alfred Paynter and his beloved grandmother, Agnes M. Paynter, his uncles Richard, Michael, David and Fred Paynter. Fego is survived by his father, Carlos Orona, step mom, Agnes Vallejos, brothers Nathan and Estevan Orona, nieces Angel Qualls, Alazai and Jeralynn Orona as wells as many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins who loved him dearly. Fego was born and raised in Los Lunas New Mexico and attended Los Lunas High School. He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. His love for fishing, hunting, Karaoke, fast cars, his pets and, of course, the Denver Broncos was unmatched. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and cousin. He gave unselfishly and lived and loved with his heart. He was always pleasant, always had a smile to offer when you needed it most. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29, 2014 form 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas Chapel, 820 Main St. NE, (505) 565-1700.
