Jimmy S. Perea

Jimmy S. Perea, 65, a life- long resident of Valencia, passed away on January 6, 2014. He was born on December 28, 1948. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Los Lunas. His greatest past-time was his love of 'John Wayne', and his knowledge of the 'oldies' of the 60's. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Eloisa, and his daughter Raquel. He is survived by two daughters Victoria (Huvaldo) of Santa Clara, Mexico and Naomi (Miguel ) of Los Lunas; one son Jimmy Sandy Jr. of Los Lunas; two sisters Prescilla Freeman of Tome and Ercilia Baca of Albuquerque; four brothers Moises (Naomi), Carlos (Carmen), Elias (Lourdes) and Eliseo Shay all of Los Lunas; ten grandchildren Amilia, Michael, Jonathan, Analicia, Joseph, Darla, Jesse, Wilfred, Victor and Issac; and four great-grandchildren Julian, Divina, Nathan, and Jonathan Jo-Jo. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Mary Moya of Peralta, as well as many nephews and nieces, primos and friends. The family would also like to acknowledge his friend and caregiver NORA, for all of her hard work. The family would also like to THANK the nurses and staff at the AMG Specialty Hospital for all of their compassion and care. A Memorial Service will be held on January 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church located at 12 Thomas Rd in Los Lunas.
