Julia Romero Benavidez

JULIA ROMERO In loving memory of Julia Romero Benavidez who went home to the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, William and all her brothers and sisters. Julia was born on February 20, 1917 in Albuquerque, NM where she lived all her life. She is survived by her son, Pete Romero Sr. and his wife, Clorinda; her daughter, Emilia Murillo and her husband, Samuel; her eight grandchildren: Pete, Johnny, Natalie, Marie, Clarence, Guillermo, Maria Isabel, and Julia; her 13 great-grandchildren, Ricky, Monica, Jolene, Yolanda, Shawn, Yevette, Felicia, Dominic, Pete Jude, Samantha, Isaac, Adrian, and Brenda; three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007 starting with viewing at 6:00 p.m. and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM. Litergical Service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. with Deacon Ruben Barela officiating at Riverside Funeral Home. Julia's final resting place will be with her husband the true love of her life at the Veterans Memorial Park in Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Clarence Romero, Rick Trujillo Jr., Shawn Romero, Dominic Romero, Roberto Martinez, and Jeremy Sease.
