Erika Thompson

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." -Psalm 116:15 Erika Thompson, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2011, at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her husband, LeGrand M. Thompson, her daughter, Joanne Hindle, and her son-in-law, Bill Hindle, were with her at her home going. Mrs. Thompson was born in Darmstadt, Germany, on November 26, 1930. She lived in Questa, New Mexico, with her husband. They had been married since December 17, 1952. She was beloved by all who knew her, and will be sorely missed. Mrs. Thompson was cared for at her passing by Riverside Funeral Home, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service for her on October 23, 2011, at 11:00 am at Questa First Baptist Church, 2558 Highway 522, Questa, NM, 87556. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
