Larry Anthony Trujillo

Larry was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and grew up in the Sawmill District in Northwest Albuquerque. He was survived by his mother, Christella Trujillo and Aunt Mary Jane Smith. He was 61 years old. He was born February 17, 1951 and he died in his home after a brief illness on May 8th, 2012. He will be terribly missed by his wife of 32 years, Victoria Maestas of Albuquerque and his children, Rosilie De Herrera of Las Vegas, NV., Leyla Muller Maestas and her husband, James Muller and Crystal Trujillo of Albuquerque. Also his granddaughters, Tiffany and Stephanie Norreno, Christina Gonzales, Destiny Martinez, and great-granddaughter, Satyana Lucia Atencio, grandsons, Paul Norreno, Joseph and Manuel Maestas, Carlos Gonzalez, James Muller, Jr. and Anthony Trujillo, Larry's siblings, Eliseo Trujillo, Jr., Louis Trujillo and wife, Gloria, Reggie Trujillo and wife Linda, Anthony Trujillo, Leon Trujillo and wife Doreen and Debbie Martinez and husband Danny, Diana Maldonado and husband Joe, Bernadine Montoya and husband David, Robert Lopez and wife Betty Jo. He also left behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly along with his family and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Eliseo Trujillo, Sr., brothers Milton and Roland Trujillo and Joseph Lopez. Larry was a strong man with a kind and gentle soul and his family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace in heaven. A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at American Legion Post #69, 9000 4th Street NW, May 19th from 11am to 4pm. Services for Larry will begin at 12noon.
