John Delmonico

John Anthony Delmonico of Longmont, Colorado passed away peacefully on February 25, 2016 at 5:15pm after a brief struggle with cancer. John was born September 27th 1962 in Akron, Ohio to John Delmonico and Patricia (Robinson) Delmonico. He married Karen Salaman on November 17th, 1991. In 1980 John and his friend Larry left for a cross-country adventure from Ohio to California. They stopped in the Boulder area, and loved it so much they both made it their permanent home. John worked in the printing industry for 20 years and was proud to have earned his journeyman’s card. John will be remembered for his charisma for life, entertaining stories, and his leather jackets and boots. He was a loyal friend and loved his family very much. He enjoyed cooking, working on computers, listening to music, being in the outdoors, and loving his children. He is survived by his wife Karen of Longmont, his children Maria (23), Anthony (17), and Angelina (15); his parents John and Patricia (Robinson) Delmonico; sister Debra (Delmonico) Clair, and brother David. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Roger and Naomi Salaman. John had a charitable heart, so in lieu of flowers or other gifts, please choose a charity of your choice and make a donation in John’s name. Private family services will be held.
