Larry Zimmerman

Larry Zimmerman, 70, was born May 13, 1944 in Toppenish, WA and died on April 18, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. Larry was part of a large family and grew up in Socorro, NM where everyone knew the Zimmerman boys. He followed in the footsteps of his father and worked as a skilled carpenter and contractor. He and his wife, Beverly, created a successful contracting company and enjoyed growing it and running it together. He loved dealing with people in his work and left an impression on everyone he met with his deep booming voice, confident manner and easy-going style. He loved telling stories and could banter with the best of them. He and Beverly loved entertaining at their home and cherished visits from children, grandchildren and relatives from across the country. He loved life and loved to travel throughout the states in their RV. Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; his parents, CC and Bill Zimmerman; his brothers Jack, Tom, and Bob; and his sisters Maxinne and Lavella. Larry is survived by his daughters, Michele and Haley; his step-children Jessica, Eric, and Jennifer; his sister Janet, and his grandchildren Tyler, Noah, Shannon, Duncan, Ryan, Brandon, Maris, Marianna, Hunter, and great-grandchildren Marshall and Kayden; as well as numerous family members across the country that he dearly loved.
