Helga Maurer, 75, of Frederick, CO, died December 17, 2015 at her home. She was born June 29, 1940 in Poland to Sigismund and Alwine (Klees) Patzer. Helga married Anton Maurer in 1960. Anton preceded her in death in 1997. Helga enjoyed gardening, traveling, dancing and everything about and being outdoors. She was a lifetime member of the Denver Kickers Club. Survivors: Sons: Tony Maurer, Longmont, CO, David Maurer, Leadville, CO; Longtime Companion, Walter Knoedlseder, Frederick, CO; Grandchildren: Alex Maurer, Longmont, CO , Kirsten Maurer, Garden City, KS,; Brothers, Helmut Patzer, Lafayette, CO, Erwin Patzer, Louisville, CO, Sigfried Patzer, Westminster, CO, George Patzer, Louisville, CO; Sisters, Gennie Lange, Lolo, MT, Erica Stoner, Phoenix, AZ, Edith Buckheister, Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015, Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home Chapel, 503 Terry St., Longmont, CO. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2015, Christ our Savior Lutheran Church, 640 Alpine St., Longmont, CO. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3016 Kalmia, Boulder, CO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Halcyon Hospice, 209 Main St., Mead, CO 80542 Carroll-Lewellen Funeral & Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
