Cleo Carmen Luna passed away peacefully on February 29, 2016 at the age of 84 in her home surrounded by her family. Cleo was born on May 8, 1931 in Colonias, NM. She attended high school in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. She married Florencio Luna at St. Therese of the Little Flower Church in Albuquerque on July 22, 1956. She was a wonderful wife and mother of seven children. She enjoyed playing the organ and drums, and loved to sing with her brothers and sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents Fidel and Cleofitas Gallegos; brothers Bernabe and Fidel Gallegos; sisters Ernestine Ulibarri, Josephine Ulibarri, Amelia Maestas and Adela Sisneros. She is survived by Florencio, her husband of 59 years, sister Portana Baca, and brother Ted Gallegos; children David Luna, wife Elaine; Gloria Martinez, husband Alan; Kenny Luna, wife Dorothy; Doris Montoya, husband Harry; Edwin Luna, wife Loretta; Melba Sanchez, husband Rick; Gary Luna, wife Diane; grandchildren Joel, Matthew, and Amanda Luna; Felicia and Aaron Martinez; Danny Luna wife Francesca; Fabian Luna, wife Rachelle, and Freddy Luna; Harry Brian Montoya, wife Andrea, and Angelo Montoya; Renee, James, Rebecca, and Rachel Luna; Jude Sanchez, wife Victoria, Dominic and Monica Sanchez; Andre and Kendra Luna; great-grandchildren Rafael, Lourdes, Marireyna, Galatia, and Sarai Montoya; Joziah and Emmett Sanchez. Rosary will be held Friday, March 4, 8:00 pm at St. Therese of the Little Flower Church; funeral mass on Saturday, March 5, 9:00 am at St. Therese of the Little Flower Church.
