Biography Daniel Anton Dolenc Daniel Anton Dolenc 93, of Longmont died peacefully December 11, 2015 at Safe Harbor assisted living in Longmont. He was born January 6, 1922 in Cumberland, Wyoming to Anton and Francis (Dolinar) Dolenc. In 1942 Daniel enlisted in the United States Navy retiring in 1972 after 30 years of service. He married Patricia Hornberger on June 24, 1946 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She died in 1985. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, skiing, ice skating and Golf. He has five holes in one and was also a champion bowler. He is survived by one son J. Scott Dolenc (Cecilia) of Longmont; Two daughters Patricia Moore of Aurora, CO and Deborah Metzner of Aurora, CO.; Four Grandchildren Brett Dolenc (Kristy), Ben Dolenc, Brooke Nott (Jonathan) and Tyson Moyer; Seven Great Grandchildren Lucie Dolenc, Marin Dolenc, Toben Dolenc, Mckenna Nott, Oakley Nott, Kayden Moyer and Karra Moyer. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia; Brothers Joseph, Willie, Max, Albert and Tony; One sister Stella. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. December 21, 2015 at Vase Funeral Chapel in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Rock Springs Wyoming.
