Adela Duran, age 77, born December 28, 1938 in Santa Fe, NM and a current resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Mrs. Duran is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Joe Duran; children, Jim Duran, Barbara Urioste and husband, Ruben, and Sam Duran and wife, Sarah; nineteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Griego and wife, Carmen; sister, Betty Griego; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Mrs. Duran was preceded in death by a daughter, Yvonne Marquez; son, Ralph Duran; grandson, Keith Crespin; and her parents, Frank and Senaida Griego. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 5:00 PM, in the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Final visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 9:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE; Rio Rancho, NM, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery in Rivera, NM. Pallbearers will be Sammy Duran, Steven Duran, Paul Urioste, Kenny Marquez, Kevin Marquez, and James Duran.
