Daniel M. Gomez

Daniel Michael Gomez "PePe" was born to Ernest and Rose Gomez, who preceded him in death, on June 10th, 1954 in Albuquerque New Mexico. He is survived by his daughters Bernadette and Maryann, his grandchildren Leann, Martin Jr, Dominic, Robert, Joshua and Bobby; His great grandchildren Jayla, Isabella, Robert and a new one on the way. Daniel passed away September 5th, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones. Daniel had six siblings, Bertha Lujan and husband Roy, Barbara Chavez and husband Alfred, Virginia Orellana and husband Manuel, Lorraine Gomez, Ernest Jr. Gomez and wife Ofelia, David Gomez and Fabby. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, one aunt, a goddaughter and many, many friends. Daniel was a very hard worker, he loved to fix cars, that was his passion. He was also a roofer. He loved his family and friends very, very much. He always made time for them, would call them daily and go visit them often. He enjoyed life and would never be seen without a smile on his handsome face. He was always telling everyone how proud he was of his daughters and his grandchildren, to him they were perfect. When he would go visit his great granddaughters he would never show up without candy or popsicles for them even if it was only 9AM. He adored his great granddaughters who he called Ballerina and Globitos, he would melt every time they would run up to him to give him kisses and hugs. He would look forward to packing his bags and heading to his daughter Berna's house for sleep overs and lots of laughs. They would make burritos for an army, then call over the grandkids to come eat, he loved cooking and sharing with everyone. He was known for being silly and making everyone laugh. Anyone he met he would automatically give them a nickname. He was a very loving, caring and giving man. His smile would light up any room and his laugh would brighten any day. We will miss you so much Daddy, grandpa and brother. May you rest in the arms of Jesus. We will keep you in our hearts forever and always, we love you. Until we meet again rest in peace Daniel M. Gomez. A viewing will be taking place Friday September 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held at Mt.
