Bobby Gene Pachta

Bobby "Bob" Gene Pachta, 78, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017. He was born on February 19, 1938, in Raton, NM. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque and Elephant Butte, New Mexico. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87108. His parents, Roman H. Pachta and Elizabeth Marie Pachta, as well as, his sister Albina Pachta preceded him in death. He is survived by his siblings Noel Pachta, David Pachta, wife Carla Pachta, Darwin Pachta, Roma Ann McGehee, Carol Muñoz, husband Freddie Muñoz, Kathy Harrison, and husband Mike Harrison as well as nieces and nephews Glen Pachta, Bruce Pachta, Jared Pachta, David Pachta, Shonda Pachta, Robin Hall, Jami Schwalm, Mark McGehee, Kerry Crespin, Branndi Greer, Matthew Pachta, Joey Pachta, Lori LeMoine and Bradley Harrison. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army. After his military service he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement in the early 1990s. He was very active in the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Posse in the 1970s. An avid outdoorsman, his interests included horsemanship, hunting, gold prospecting and fishing.
