Arnold L Williams, 70, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for 17 years passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 6, 2017 after suffering several strokes. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cynthia, brothers: Central, Donald, Randolph, and Theodore; sisters: Mary and Jessie Mae; children: Shawn and Vaughn, Dawn, Marchett, and Arnold, Jr.; many grands, great-grands, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Miles D and Earline Smalls; brother, Henry Miles and sister, Helen. Arnold was born in Bamberg, SC on March 25, 1947 and raised in Syracuse, NY. Graduated from Central Tech HS in 1965 and studied Culinary Arts at New York State Manpower 4 yr. degree program. Throughout his career, Arnold achieved many awards and certification while working for General Motors, CNM, UNM, and Kirkland Airforce Base. Before his retirement he worked 14 yrs. as a contracted Security Officer for Kirkland. He formerly was a member and choir singer for Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Arnold enjoyed the simple things in life, loved to go fishing in the Adirondacks, spend quality time with his family, enjoyed leisure time at the Casino, and traveling to places throughout the New Mexico region. His greatest accomplishment, Champion Bowler in the 1980's in and around the Syracuse region. He is going to be greatly missed for his support, humor, and reserved mannerism. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held in Syracuse NY at a later date.
