Timothy Aaron Baca

Timothy Aaron Baca (Timmy), 30, of Santa Fe, passed away suddenly and tragically on Saturday morning, June 17, 2017 and will be sorely missed. Tim was born on July 15, 1986 in Albuquerque, NM and has lived his entire life in Santa Fe. He worked as an employee of Tribal Works with the Pojoaque Pueblo and he was a member of the City of Santa Fe men's basketball league. Tim is survived by his loving wife Lapearl; children; Breyonna, Aaron, Tim Ayson Jr., and Ethan; parents Edmund Baca and Sylvia Garcia; grandmother, Toni Alejo; raised by grandmother, Lena Baca; brothers: Rueben Ruiz, Patrick Ruiz, Thomas Baca and Josh Baca; father-in-law and mother-in-law Andres and Liz Martinez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim attended Capital High School and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2004. Tim was a devoted husband and a proud father who loved his wife and children deeply. He was loved by many and had a contagious smile that brought joy and laughter to anyone he touched. Tim loved to play basketball and had a mean 3-point shot that will not be forgotten. Tim enjoyed being with his family and friends whether it was at a barbecue, playing horseshoes, watching sports or just visiting enjoying a Michelada. Services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at San Isidro Catholic Church Center beginning with a viewing at 5:30 PM and a rosary to follow at 6:30 PM. A final viewing will be on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M., with the Funeral Mass to begin at 2:00 P.M., interment to follow mass. Pallbearers: Rueben Ruiz, Patrick Ruiz, Thomas Baca, Josh Baca, Edmund Baca and father-in-law Andres Martinez. Honorable Pallbearers: Jerome Baca, Timothy (Soda Pop) Ortiz and Jerry Vigil.
