Richard Donald Dominguez

Richard Donald Dominguez, age 67, passed away on August 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with heart disease. Donnie was born on May 4, 1950 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Lucy and Alfred Dominguez. He was known as Donnie to his family and Richie to his friends. Donnie lived life on his terms. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and made friends everywhere he went. We will all miss his greeting of "How ya' doin'?" Rather than say good bye, he would give you "knuckles". He loved his Harley and was sad when he could no longer ride. He will be missed dearly but we are comforted knowing that he is no longer in pain, but at peace. His last breath was on earth, the next was in heaven. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and Alfred Dominguez, his brother, Robert, his sister, Gina, and his nephew, Rob. He is survived by his children, Cheryl (Roy) Cuoco and Estevan CdeBaca, brothers, Fred Aguilar of Phoenix, AZ, Jerry (Nancy) of Delray Beach, FL, Daniel (Ruth) of Las Vegas, NM, Marvin (Rose) of Las Vegas, NM, and sisters, Angela (Pablo) Sedillo of Santa Fe, NM, and Michelle (Jack) Encinias of Albuquerque, NM, and his extended family, Barbara Dominguez, Louise CdeBaca, and nieces and nephews, Yvette, Carlo, Pablo IV, Sandy, Chrissy, Melissa, Jamie, Carmen, Raymond, Isaac, Matthew, Desiree, Jeremy, Tristan, Audrey, Naomi, Mark, Mercy, James, and Kathy, and many other relatives and numerous friends. Services will be at Our Lady of Fatima, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd at 9:30 a.m., with a burial mass following at 10:00 a.m. at. A celebration of his life and reception will be held after mass at the American Legion Post 49, 11005 Central Ave. NE, Albuquerque. NM. (No outside drinks allowed.) A private burial of his ashes will be held at the family cemetery in Mineral Hill, New Mexico at a later date. Donnie rests in God's hands now and continues to be loved by all who were a part of his life. He would be grateful for all masses offered on his behalf.
