Heather Victoria Martinez

Heather Victoria Martinez, passed away on December 20th, 2017 she was surrounded by her Mother, Older Sister and Step Father Arthur. Heather passed away during Prayer and while holding her Mother and Sister Ashley's hands. Heather Victoria Martinez was born in Espanola N.M on June 22nd, 1989 to the late Vernon John Martinez and Yolanda Martinez. Heather had such a beautiful bond with her Dad and it broke her heart to lose him at such an early age, by all definition Heather was a Daddy's girl and never was able to move on as herself after his passing. Heather was so smart she was able to obtain her GED after only completing her first year of Highschool, she was gifted in Math just like her Father, Heather had a smile that we will all miss, she loved to make people laugh and was happiest in the mountains, she felt most at peace in Nature. In her own words Heathers biggest blessing and meaning in life came from bringing her Beautiful Daughters Cassandra and Josephine into this world, she loved her Girls with all her heart and was most proud of them. Heather Feather loved her Family beyond words she was always checking in on all of us. She was also so proud to be an Auntie and loved all her Nieces and Nephews so much. Heather loved each family member she also had a special place in her heart for her Grandpa Ross , Grandma Vicki , Grandma Mary and Grandpa Joe as they provided her with so much love and compassion. Heather had a heart of gold and like her Father would have given her shirt off her back for someone in need. Heather is survived by her Two Daughters, Cassandra and Josephine, Mother Yolanda Martinez and Arthur, Sisters Ashley and Amber, Nieces and Nephews, Grandparents and many other loved ones. The Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in El Rito, NM with inurnment to follow. We would like to thank all our Friends and Family for all the support, prayers and thoughts, as well as the Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque for the amazing care provided to Heather and our Family.
