Gerald LeRoy “Jerry” Temple, 92, of Ocala, FL passed away December 21, 2021 in Ocala. Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Jerry was the long-time owner of an advertising agency dedicated to the manufacturing industry. He loved traveling, motorcycles, cars and singing in the choir. Jerry enjoyed do-it-yourself projects, and restored a log cabin in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, which his family enjoyed for many years. Jerry was a devout Methodist and enjoyed gatherings with many dear friends over the years. Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Temple Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Elaine Temple, of Ocala, children, Karen Czinder, Debrah Dimitris (James), Beth Powell (Charles), David Temple (Deborah) and Duane Temple (Gaylene), 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Ocala West United Methodist Church, 9330 SW 105th St., Ocala, FL 34481 on January 9, 2022 at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ocala West United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
