Betty Cervantes

CERVANTES,BETTY 87 years old, Born on April 13,1930, passed away on March 6th, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, and now she is an Angel of God. Born in Grants NM, she resided in Gallup for 49 years and worked for Gallup Public Schools for 25 years and retired as a cook Manager, she resided in Bluewater Acres for 23 years and worked with Thoreau Schools for 5 years. She moved to Albuquerque in 2010 and spent her last 8 years here, with her Daughter Dora as her caregiver. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joe Cervantes, also by her parents Jose and Luisa Trujillo, and her brother Arthur, 2 infants daughters Carlotta and Ruthie Jean and adult son Anthony (Mofe). She is survived by her Sister Virginia Cortez her daughter Dora (caregiver) and Guillermo Lajeuenesse ,Phyllis and Andrew Blea, Irene Sena, John and Veronica Cervantes, and Steven and Liz Cervantes. 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Betty is loved by so many and will never be forgotten, Pallbearers will be her Granddaughters Dolly, Jeanette, Jessie, Selia, Cindy, Andrea, Tanya, Christina, Desiree, Hillary and Felicia.
