Charles Baca
July 12th, 1926 - March 7th, 2018
 Charles Baca "Charmin' Charlie B and The Rage of Albuquerque"- Beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend passed away surrounded by his family on March 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his Mother Amalia Baca (nee Valencia), Father Efren Baca, his brother Joe and several Aunts and Uncles. Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Dyanna Wilson, Alycia Baca and Ingrid Cordova. Also left behind to love and remember are his Grandchildren, Jacquelyn Wilson-Jones, Dr. Zachary Wilson (Mandi), Ricky Harrison, Amber Cordova-Yates (Mike), Jacob Cordova, Tyler Fenske and Angela Kissinger. And this Great Grandchildren, Justyn Jones (fiancé Bryanna Rosales), Paityn Jones, Elijah Harrison, Bailey Yates, Landon Cordova, Faith Cordova, Adelynn Yates, Karsyn Yates and a Great Granddaughter due in June. Also surviving are sisters, Helen Garcia, Sara Torrez, Theresa Lucero, Florence Ortiz, Eileen Hernandez, brothers Tony, Richard, Gilbert and Randy Baca and numerous nieces and nephews.  Charlie was born July 12, 1926 and grew up in Albuquerque where he graduated from Albuquerque High School and played on the All Star Basketball Team. He joined the Navy as a young man and serviced during the Korean Conflict. As a man who loved his country, he traveled with Bob Hope on a USO Tour in the South Pacific-where he was able to do what he loved most, sing and entertain our troops. He starred in numerous productions with ALCOA-Albuquerque Little Theater and Pope Joy at UNM. Later, he starred in several Disney films "Mustang" and "Showdown" to name a couple.  Charlie retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department as Chief at Kirtland Airforce Base. After retirement, he was free to pursue his passion. He sang at several locate establishments - Eddie's Inferno, The Four Seasons Clarion and lately, up until February 2018, Nick & Jimmy's on Wednesday nights with Freddie Chavez and every Sunday at Varessie in Santa Fe with Doug Montgomery for over 30 years.   He loved his fans and their love for him has been evident and awe inspiring. He wanted them all to join us in celebrating his life- A life well lived.   Sunday, March 18, 2018 Riverside Funeral Home 209 San Mateo Blvd. NE in Albuquerque  Viewing from 1:00-3:00PM Â
