Carl Carlos Jesus Herrera

Carl "Carlos" Jesus Herrera Age 63, of Butte, Montana, passed away peacefully on March 4 , 2018 in Taos, New Mexico. Carl J. Herrera was born in Grand Junction, Colorado to his parents, Albert & Rose Herrera on July 5 , 1954. He grew up and graduated High School in Butte, Montana in 1972. He worked as a miner in Butte, Montana, Grants, New Mexico and Questa, New Mexico for over 20 years, after which he worked as a car salesman for Taos Motors, Cottam-Walker Ford, and Friday Motors in Taos, and other locations in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Carl is preceded in death by his Mother and Father Albert and Rose Herrera and his brother Steve Herrera. Carl is survived by his best friend and sweetheart, Mary Nuanez of Des Montes, New Mexico, and her two daughters, Fallon Martinez of Albuquerque; Tarah Ahdokabo of Mountain View, OK and their families. Regina Farrer (Kougioulis) of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Sons Jaime Herrera(Julia) of Scottsdale, Arizona & Jeremy Herrera(Michelle) of Pleasant Grove Utah. Carla Gonzales(Rivera) of Taos, New Mexico, and Sons Jacob Herrera(Sarah) and Anthony Herrera both of Taos, New Mexico, and Son, Justin Phillipi-Abeyta of Albuquerque, Grandchildren Jordan, Jase, Jackson, Skyler, Taylor, Riley, Jaiden, Violet & Lily Herrera. Carl is also survived by his Sister Dorothy Wentzel(Jackson) of Maupin, Oregon, Manual Herrera(Linda) and Dan Herrera(Cheryl) of Butte, Montana and Roger Herrera(Donna)of Florida and many other friends and family. The family of Carl Herrera wish to extend our sincere thanks to the Holy Cross Hospital nurses and doctors as well as the entire staff of nurses and doctors at the Taos Living Center and Taos Hospice.
