Larman Arthur Everett
July 18th, 1941 - April 30th, 2018
 Larman Arthur Everett, 76, of Moriarty, New Mexico passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, April 30, 2018. Larman was born on July 18, 1941 in Gallup, NM to Eugene "Buster" and Uva Waneta (Grimshaw) Everett. He married Elizabeth Fay Huff on September 28, 1968. They lived in Edgewood, NM since 2003 having previously lived in Espanola, NM. He served in the United States Marine Corps (1959-1963) during the time of the Vietnam War. In the USMC, he received a Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Medal. In addition, he was certified in demolition and mine warfare. His civilian career included serving as an Iron Worker, a project manager, an OSHA inspector, an officer with the Albuquerque Police Department and a detective with Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department (BCSD). He helped to initiate the BCSD Crime Scene Investigations Unit.    Larman took an active part in life as a son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather.  In his spare time, he loved music, cooking, the outdoors, animals and history.  He shared in all these things with family and friends as well as leading youngsters in the Boy Scouts.  He went hunting with family and taught motorcycle safety as well as riding his own motorcycle.    Larman was preceded in death by his parents, by two brothers, Roy and Cecil "Sam" Everett, and by four sisters, Martha DeArmond, Frona Baldonado, JoAnn, and Kathleen Halstead; by his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Huff Everett; by a daughter, Anna Kathleen Everett, by step-daughter, Tammy Seagraves and by step-granddaughter, Samantha Seagraves.    He is survived by children Scott Everett, Randy Jaramillo, Ira Everett, Athena Daniel, Evette Smith; by grandchildren Keisha, Katrina, Kayla, Garrett, Brianna, Ira, Jr., Shikodi, K.J., Trinity, Tajmah, Michael Benjamin, Davy, Michael, Anna, Mia, Monica, Randilee, Dustin and by great-grandchildren Fisher, Annabelle, Lily, Kiyiah, Levi, Annelise, Aaron and Mason. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Elena Everett, widow of Cecil Everett, and brother-in-law, Larry Halsted, widower of Kathleen Everett Halsted as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Â
