Bonaire: Dorothy Elizabeth Harmon, 81, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday November 23, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bill Woodson will officiate. Mrs. Harmon was born in Newberry, SC to the late Johnny and Mattie Bouknight Wheeler. She was a member of the Bonaire United Methodist Church and a retired worker in carpet and textiles. Survivors include her husband William E. Harmon of Bonaire, son Gary W. Harmon of White, GA, sister Myrtie Mae Mills of Clinton, SC, three granddaughters Brandi Lawson of Centerville, Jessica Benson of Kathleen, Cassie Harmon of White, GA, three great grandchildren Jaide, Janee and Dominic. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
