September 4th, 1983 - August 21st, 2018
Rachel M. Perea 34yrs old born to Ralph Perea of Santa Fe, NM & Ramona Perea of alb. NM on 9-4-1983 Rachel was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque she enjoyed swimming, camping, cooking going to her sons' games and loved helping others. Rachel graduated from New Futures High School with honors and immediately after that she enrolled into Pima Medical Institute where she graduated earning her a certificate for medical assistant. Rachel was only 17yrs old raising her 1yr old son on her own thankfully she was born and raised with wonderful parents whom had 2 other children Antoinette and Nathen luckily Rachel had them to help her with Enrique without their help and support things would of been a lot harder on Rachel however she would if still been able to accomplish all those things for Rachel was not only beautiful and smart she was also strong minded with a heart of gold. Rachel started working for a family friend who was injured while in the army she worked for Anthony Sedillo for the rest of her life she was very grateful for Anthony for her too became a great help in her life as well before she died she made sure she told him I love you and thank you for everything. Rachel found love in her best friend Farrah she helped Rachel through her good and bad times they were lifelong friends that blossomed into a loving relationship Rachel loved Farrah and Farrah loved Rachel even more. Sadly, all that ended at UNMH on August. 21, 2018 Rachel was surrounded by her loved ones whom she is survived by which are Son Enrique Perea 18 Mom Ramona Perea 60 Sister Antoinette Perea 32 Elisayeah Najera 3 Brother Nathan Perea aka Nay Nay 28 Spouse Farrah Chavez 42 Stepdaughter Aaliyah Chavez 18 Granddaughter Amaya Pineda Chavez 1 and Cousin Dominic Perea and many other family members. Elisayeah and Amaya always brought a smile and joy to Rachel's life. Rachel not only loved everyone she had in her life Rachel was and will forever be loved Rachel did not leave this world alone god came for Rachel and took her by the hand and led her into the gates of heaven where she was happily greeted by those who perished before her and that was her Daddy Ralph Perea 47 whom Rachel loved and missed for she was daddy's little girl also waiting for her arrival were Rachel and Ramon Perea (Grandparents) cousin Lupe Ashford And cousin Louie Perea then sadly joining Rachel in death two days later brother in-law Ernesto Najera 37 may they all RIP we miss and love you all. Services for Rachel will be held at Riverside Funeral Home on San Mateo and Central Saturday Sept. 15 2018 at noon with a burial at the San Jose Cemetery following services at mortuary. Refreshments will be served after the services location pending. Family would like to thank all who donated to Rachel's GoFundMe and all who helped with all fundraising and donations also Thanks to Farrah's sister Roxanne Smith for taking time to create and pay for memorial cards.
