Santiago Martinez

Santiago "Jimmy" Martinez, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Escobosa, NM, to Juan and Erlinda Martinez. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Lillie; daughters, Cecelia Albert, Rita Martinez - Eller, and Anita Siebenborn; son in laws: Tim Hall, Robert Eller, and Karl Siebenborn; grandchildren, Chelsea Albert, Jordan Albert, Santiago Gaudette, Breanna Gaudette, Christopher Gaudette, Nicholas Gaudette, and Tyler Siebenborn; his siblings Ruben Martinez, Nat Martinez, and Herman Martinez; one great grandchild Cora Daniels, and many other relatives. Jimmy graduated from Valley High School and the University of New Mexico. Amongst many of his careers, he was a chemical engineer at Dow Chemical Company, in Freeport, TX, where many of his good friends still remain. Jimmy was a diehard Dallas Cowboy Football Team Fan! A Rosary will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Riverside Chapel, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87108, at 3:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 5415 Fortuna RD NW Albuquerque, NM 87105, at 9:00 AM. Burial Service will be following at Mt Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87102.
