Warner Robins, GA: Mrs. Daisy Lee Brantley Stewart, 88, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 after a short illness. Memorial services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday, April 27th, 2012 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Bill Bagwell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the family life center at Trinity United Methodist Church. Interment services will be held on Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Tarrytown Cemetery, Highway 29 South, Tarrytown, GA. Daisy was born on November 30th, 1923 in Cedar Crossing, GA; the daughter of the late Robert Lofton and Mrs. Bessie Mae Poole Brantley. After living in Vidalia, GA for over thirty years she recently moved to Warner Robins to be closer to her son. Daisy was a graduate of Soperton High School in 1944 and faithfully attended her class reunions. She was of the Baptist faith, a devoted mother and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Daisy was a Pink Lady at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, GA and was recognized for over thirty years of service before moving to Warner Robins. Daisy will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Daisy was preceded in death by her son, Ozzie Stewart, her brother Garth Brantley and former husband Sam Stewart. Daisy is survived by her daughter, Denise Bill Brown of Summerville, SC; son, Al Janice Stewart of Kathleen, GA; Grandchildren LeeAnne Fred Newton of Summerville, SC; Stacey Brian Frazier of Warner Robins, GA; Jamie Chad Daugherty of Gray, GA; Jana Eddie Coatney of Lizella, GA; Brantley Stewart of Kathleen, GA; Lindsay and Logan Donaldson both of Surfside Beach, SC; Great-Grandchildren Ross Newton, Samantha and Braden Frazier, Lainey and Conner Daugherty, and Gracie and Zach Coatney. Sister Virginia Roger Dawley of Plainfield, CT also surviving are numerous family members. Flowers will be accepted, however, contributions can be made to Meadows Memorial Auxiliary, Vidalia, GA. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
