April 15th, 1959 - September 3rd, 2014
Rick Rogers, 55, of Johnstown, CO, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at McKee Medical Center. Rick was born April 15, 1959 to Lawrence G. and Wilma M. (Hill) Rogers in Haxtun, CO. He graduated from Haxtun High School. Rick worked for Kuck Mechanical in Loveland, CO. He married Cheryl Hoyt in 2002. Rick’s passions were his grandchildren, his family and his service to the Lord and others. He and his wife served on the ministry team at Lifebridge Christian Church in Johnstown, CO. Rick always looked forward to camping trips, ATV excursions and family dinners with his children and grandchildren. Survivors: Wife, Cheryl Rogers; Children, Dean (Nikki) Godejohn and their children, Hannah, Logan and Kaedin, Amber Greenough and her children Kyle and Jianna, Mandi (Dan) Mayer and their children Kali and D.J., and Adam (Kendra) Rogers and their children Penley and Hadley; Sisters, Colleen (Henry) Doerr and Connie (Glen) Weber; Brother, Mark (Bev) Rogers; numerous nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014, Lifebridge Christian Church, 10345 Ute Highway, Longmont, CO 80504.
