Warner Robins- Martin Buddy Mullis Sr. 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 30, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 2, 2012 at 3:00PM in Shady Grove in Byron. The family will receive friends on Friday June 1, 2012 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. The Reverend Jeff Wells will officiate. Mr Buddy was born on May 26, 1934 to the late James and Lillie Mullis in Chester Georgia. Mr Buddy owned and operated Martin Mullis construction and also worked for the city of Warner Robins before his retirement. He gave his life to the lord in 1963 and became a deacon in 1965. Mr Buddy had a love for music and sang in the church choir for many years. He had a quick smile and a passion to minister, serve and care deeply for his church family at Shady Grove in Byron. He considered putting Christ first in his life and home his greatest accomplishment. Mr Buddy also enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling with his wife, snuggling with his great grandchildren and loved laughter of his family. Survivors- Loving wife of Fifty Four years Ada Sorrow Mullis; Daughter Linda Barlow Dale; Son Martin Mullis Jr. Jackie; Granddaughter Catherine Bridges Joshua; Granddaughter Stephanie Stephens Kevin; Grandson Joshua Barlow; Grandson David Barlow; Granddaughter Stephanie Hawes; Three Great Grandchildren Grace, Bryce and Logan Bridges. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
