Inez K. Lucas, 95, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday July 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lucas was born in Dodge County, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Madison and Cora Lee Yawn Kirkley, husband Jack Lucas, daughter Jean Majors, grandson Mark Majors and two brothers Raymond and Oscar F. Kirkley. She was a retired accounting clerk from Robins Air Force Base and a longtime member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include her grandchildren Candice Dale Pike of Warner Robins, Mike Majors of Thomaston, Tonia Majors of Warner Robins, 4 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and sister Doris Williams of Eastman. The family would like to thank all the staff at Kingsford of Warner Robins, Heart of Georgia Hospice and Mrs. Hazel Colson for their love and care they gave to Mrs. Lucas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice at 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of all arrangements.
