Mabel Weaver
June 30th, 1916 - August 17th, 2014
Mabel Weaver, formerly of Longmont and Berthoud, passed away at the Professional Care Center in Canon City, Colorado on August 17, 2014 at the age of 98. Mabel was born June 30, 1916 in Yale, OK. The daughter of Gordon and Nona (Fitzgerald) Dale. At age 4, her parents, a brother Arthur, moved to Sarcoxie, Missouri. She graduated from Sarcoxie High School in 1934. On July 4, 1936 she married Omer L. (Jack) Weaver in Pinedale, Missouri. They moved to Colorado in 1938. Their son Jack was born June, 1941, and in November 1941 the family moved to Upland, CA. Their daughter Barbara Ann was born in February 1944. In July 1953, the family moved back to Colorado. In 1954, Mabel started working at the auto filter plant (Gould) in Longmont, and worked there 26 years, retiring to Berthoud, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack of 66 years, her parents and a brother. She is survived by a son, Jack (Cathy) Weaver of Longmont; a daughter, Barbara Ann (Drew) Lamoreux of Florence, Colorado; grandchildren Patrick and Lisa Weaver of Longmont; Jon (Elizabeth) Laxoreux of Tocoma, Washington and a great granddaughter Ellie of Tacoma. Cremation took place in Florence, Colorado with burial at a later date at the Foothills Garden of Memory Cemetery in Longmont, CO. Service Information A service summary is not available
