Joyleen "Joy Gutierrez" Estrada

Estrada, Joyleen (Gutierrez), 62, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister has lost her three-year battle with breast cancer on Monday, April 8, 2019. Joy was still young at heart but her body was tired with the fight. Joy was a bus driver for Bernalillo Public School which she loved to do. She loved dancing and thrift shopping, always looking for a good deal. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ricardo and Gregorita Gutierrez; brother Felix Gutierrez; two brothers in law Paul Reams, Alex Lucero; niece Santana Valdez; nephews Gino and Leon Lucero. Joy is survived by her children Marco Gutierrez and Janice White, John Alcario Castro, Michelle Gutierrez; grandchildren Jasmine White, Mathen Brown, Wayne White, Alcario Castro, Dylan Gutierrez, Marisa Castro, Ryan Gutierrez; 6 sisters and 4 brothers and many loving nieces and nephews. Joy will be greatly missed by her loving family and those lives she touched. Cremation has taken place and a Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church, 47 Paseo del San Antonio Placitas. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Placitas Catholic Cemetery.
