Eatonton: Ray Cameron, 82, of Eatonton died Friday July 30, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Revs. Jim Bohannon and Blackie Bellury will officiate. Mr. Cameron, a native of Greenup County, KY, was the son of the late James and Lula Wright Cameron. He was retired from Robins AFB and was an avid fisherman, having won several tournaments at Lake Sinclair. He attended Lakeshore Community Church and was a former volunteer firefighter with the Twin Bridges Fire Station. He was also a Mason. His son, Dan Cameron, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Carol Cameron of Eatonton. Children: Debbie Joe Harbin of Bonaire, Michael D. Cameron of Eatonton and Karen Mike Sipes of Leesburg, OH. Six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements
