Kathleen: Jay Edward Icard, 45, of Kathleen died Monday August 9, 2004. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Tazewell Cemetery in Tazewell, GA. Rev. Kenny Rodgers will officiate. Mr. Icard, a lifelong resident of Houston County, was a member of the Bonaire First Baptist Church. He was a former Houston County Deputy and was currently a Park Ranger at Lake Tobosofkee. He was also a member of the PBA. Survivors include his wife Laura Icard of Kathleen. Sons: Kerry Icard, Jonathan Icard and Julian Icard all of Kathleen. Parents: James and Nell Icard of Bonaire. Siblings: Eddie Icard of Bonaire, Joel Icard of New Orleans, LA and Janell Hughes of Perry. Three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bonaire First Baptist Church Building Fund, 142 Hwy 96, Bonaire, GA 31005. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
