Robert "Jim" James Moye

Macon: Dr. Robert James ?Jim? Moye Jr., of Macon died Thursday November 25, 2004. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Dr. Moye, born in Pensacola, FL, was the son of Lois Dickerson Moye and the late Robert James Moye, Sr. Dr. Moye was a graduate of Georgia Military College, University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in surgery at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. For the past twenty years, Dr. Moye enjoyed serving the citizens of middle Georgia through his family practice and the Emergency Departments of the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Houston Medical Center. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed raising and showing horses. Survivors include his wife Teri Moye of Macon. Sons: Trey Moye of Atlanta, Travis Moye and his wife Kristin of Orlando, FL. Mother: Lois D. Moye of Athens. Brothers: Dr. Danny Moye of Athens and Chuck Moye of Thomson. The family will receive friends following services on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Methodist Home for Children & Youth, 304 Pierce Ave., Macon, GA 31201. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
