Jose "Tacho" Anastacio Garcia
February 3rd, 1941 - July 20th, 2019
Jose Anastacio "Tacho" Garcia 2-3-1941 - 7-20-2019 Tacho passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pajarito, NM to Doroteo and Conferina Garcia. Tacho is preceded in death by his parents, Doroteo and Conferina. His loving wife of 38 years Esther. Siblings, Estevan, Jose Inez, Doroteo II, Rita, Jimmy, and sister in-law Dolores. He is survived by his son Patrick Mares Sr. and his children Patrick Jr. (Danielle), Margaret, Elizabeth (Dustie), Kathleen. Great grandchildren Adam, Glenn, Brenden, Ella, Jordyn. Godson, Victor Villa Lobos. Siblings, Roque (Mona), Maria Elena (Jerry), Margie (Gilbert), Charlie, Pauline, Tommy (Roberta), Gerald and sister-in-law, Celina Garcia. Many other nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Casket bearers will be Patrick Mares Jr, Geraldo Garcia, Joaquin Garcia, Jerome Martinez, Miguel Garcia and Victor Villalobo. Honorary casket bearers will be Thomas Garcia, Andres and Abraham Morelos, Daniel Garcia and Doroteo Garcia III. He was very well known throughout the community and the Santa Fe Senior Center. Visitation for Tacho will be on Wednesday July 24, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Riverside Funeral Home of Santa Fe with the recitation of the Holy Rosary starting at 7:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday July 25, 2019 at 9:00 am at the San Isidro Catholic Church, 3552 Agua Fria Street. Interment immediately following mass at Rosario Cemetery.
