Eldon Dale Hawkins

Warner Robins: Eldon Dale Hawkins, 66, died Tuesday January 17, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Oconee, GA. Mr. Hawkins, a native of Pontiac, MI, was the son of the late Howard Hawkins and Lois Lyons. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the National Educators Association. He was retired from the Houston County School System with over 33 years of service. He was also a member of AARP and a volunteer at the Museum of Aviation. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Evelyn Curry Hawkins of Warner Robins; children Lynn Marie Hawkins of Warner Robins and Joshua Franklin Hawkins of New York; siblings Kenneth Hawkins and Helen Phillips of Missouri; and numerous other relatives. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
