Warner Robins, GA: Amanda Lowery Hardy, 72, was born May 8, 1940, in Eastman, GA. After a courageous battle with cancer, Amanda passed away peacefully on Christmas- her most cherished day. She has joined her parents and daughter, Darlene Hardy. She is survived by her children Col. William Hardy, Brenda Maxwell and Linda Fredrick; grandchildren, Nicholas Cross, Christopher Fredrick, Cary Fredrick, Kelton Fredrick, Alton Herbest, III, Michael Blake Cambron, Erica Maxwell, William Michael Hardy, Jennifer Phillips, Melissa Hardy, great grandchildren, James Sturdivant, Caitlyn Phillips, Kasen Phillips, Vanessa Herbest, Alicia Herbest, Alton Herbest, IV, Briana Fredrick, Margan Fredrick, brother, Dr. Ben Lowery, and a host of loving family and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, in Parkway Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM. Her family expresses their gratitude to the Heart of Georgia Hospice staff for their incomparable compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Heart of Georgia Hospice at 103 Westridge Way, Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Amanda. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
