Mildred Barfield

Mildred Barfield, 75, was called home to be with her Savior on Friday February 22, 2013. Funeral services will be private for the family. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery in Macon. The Rev. Kenny Hamm will officiate. Mrs. Barfield was born in Longview, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Admiral & Pearl (Tawwater) Breland and her late husband, Wilton Barfield. She was a retired clerk from Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Barfield was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughters, Debora and Robert Whitaker of Macon, Holly Frost of Bonaire, 2 granddaughters Crystal Frost and Kathryn Edger, 2 great grandchildren Jaycee and Brayden, sister Betty Studstill and brother Jimmy Breland of Centerville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA, 31201 or to the American Lung Association at 2788 Riverside Dr., Macon, GA, 31204, in memory of Mrs. Barfield. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
