Macon, GA- Helen M. Spann passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1:00PM in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Willie Crosby will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Christian Church of Centerville, 810 Collins Ave, Warner Robins, GA, 31093. Mrs. Spann was born on March 6, 1943, in Columbus, GA. Mrs. Spann was a retired social worker for the Medical Center of Central Georgia. She was a member of First Christian Church of Centerville. Mrs. Spann was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Spann and a daughter, Patricia Spann. Survivors include: a daughter, Pamela Ingram of Warner Robins; a brother, Randy Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
