Larry Pat Trujillo

On Wednesday December 4, 2019, Larry Pat Trujillo Jr went into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Larry was born on December 21, 1971 in Albuquerque, NM to Larry and Marie Trujillo. Larry enlisted in the Air Force in February 1995. After completing 4 years of active duty he joined the Air National Guard for 17years. He served as an aerospace propulsion journeyman (jet engine mechanic). On October 21, 1995 he married the love of his life Melanie Lena Trujillo. They raised their beloved son Moises. Larry was an avid and competitive fisherman. He loved exploring the lakes and rivers of New Mexico with his family. During his outings he loved spending quality time with his grandpa Pat and learning the tricks of the trade from him. When Larry caught the first or biggest fish he enjoyed letting everyone know around him, especially his mom. He also enjoyed watching his Denver Broncos play football. His quick wit, smile, competitive nature, and thoughtfulness will be missed. Larry was preceded in death by his wife Melanie, grandma Trini, grandma Rose, and grandpa Felix. He is survived by his son, Moises, his parents Larry and Marie, his grandpa Pat, his brother Daniel and wife Julie, his sister Valerie and Joe Martin, his niece Kayla, Andre Martin, his mother in law Carmen Padilla, his sister in law Judyann Jaramillo, and several family members. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12th, 2019 at 9 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Church, 2005 North Plaza. Following the mass Larry will be laid to rest at the National cemetery in Santa Fe at 12:45 p.m. Reception to follow the burial service at 2:30pm at Sawmill Lofts, 1801 Bellamah Ave NW 87104 Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, (505)764-9663.
