Warner Robins, GA- Mr. Harold A. Ross went to Heaven Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Gene Saunders will officiate. Donations can be made to Heart of GA Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. Mr. Ross was born on May 31, 1922 in Eastman, GA to the late Augustus and Millie Ann Ross. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Ross owned and operated Aluminum Enterprises for over 40 years. Mr. Ross attended Green Acres Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the greatest of the Greatest Generation. Survivors include- his wife of 66 years, Opal Ross of Warner Robins; children, Vicki (Ken) Babbitt of Bonaire, David Ross of Bonaire; grandchildren, Ross Babbitt, Audrey Janssen; great grandchildren, McKenzie Janssen, Ansleigh Janssen; and sister, Louise Parsons of Eastman.
