Betty Scott Reed, 81, passed away Friday July 4, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will held on Tuesday, July 8th at 2:00PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The Dr. Bob Dilks will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 7th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association 886 Mulberry Street, Macon GA 312101. Mrs Reed was born on March 26, 1933 to the late Raymond and Melvin Scott. She is retired from Robins Air Force Base Civil Service where she worked as a secretary. She was a member at Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping people by volunteering for different organizations. She is preceded in death by her husband Lowell Reed and two sisters Norma Jean Morris and Suzie Janeway. Survivors : Daughter Cathy Reed of Warner Robins, Son SGM Randy Reed (Ginger) of Fort Bragg N.C., Grandchildren Cody Reed, Lyndsey Reed, and Kayla Owens.
