Linda Joy Severeid
January 23rd, 1950 - January 19th, 2020
Linda Joy Severeid (Niblock) loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away at the age of 69. Linda was born to Henry & Sonja Niblock in Sheboygan, WI. Linda had a passion for home decorating and home renovating which she and her husband made a great team completing numerous beautiful custom homes. She was extremely creative and created many one-of-a-kind art pieces. Linda was a former model and instructor at Flair Modeling Agency and was a true fashionista. She often looked as if she just walked off the pages of a fashion magazine, even if out gardening. Linda had the most beautiful blue eyes and infectious laugh. She loved a good party and was a great cook, host and entertainer. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving providing us with wonderful memories of her gatherings filled with fabulous food (including her famous tamale stuffing), fun, dancing, music and girl's Friday after shopping adventures. However, her greatest accomplishment and love was her family. She would often remind us that the only thing she wanted in life was to be a wife and mother. She succeeded and her wish did come true. Linda is survived by her three children, Gina (Joe) Ward, Nick (Yvette) Opperman and Jehan Elias and husband, Gus Severeid. She is survived by her father Henry and stepmom, Melba Niblock; sisters Dee (Ron) Cappelle, Donna (John) Russell, and Lori Tyrer; brothers Henry (Karen proceeded in death) Niblock, Les Contreras and Jay Niblock; her grandchildren Brittanie, Ashton, Noah, Jaden and Joey; nephews Zach Glunt, Abe and Ian Cappelle and James Niblock along with extended family. She was proceeded in death by her mother Sonja Schwartz. Although she will be immensely missed by her family, we are thankful she is rejoicing in heaven, with her Lord and Savior and we have the hope we will see her again. A celebration of life is being planned for this spring. Arrangements entrusted to: Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque 225 San Mateo Blvd NE (505) 764-9663
