Biography Kenneth Roy Gibson, 80, of Westminster, passed away on January 10, 2014. He was born on July 09, 1933 to William Roy and Freda “Web” Gibson in Longmont, Colorado. Ken worked for 35 years for the United States Post Office in Longmont. His local hangout was the Castaways Lounge in Thornton, a place he spent many hours with friends, new and old. He loved animals and often took in stray cats to care for and nurture back to health. He always carried milk bones with him to give to the dogs on his postal route. Kenneth served four years active duty for the Navy as a young man and he has been a donor for the Disabled Veterans for many years. Kenneth deeply loved his children and was often found telling others about them.
