Warner Robins, GA. – William Lee Asbury Sr, passed away on February 5, 2016. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday February 7, 2016 at 2:00PM in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 6, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 Mr. Asbury was born in Elberton GA, to the late Stewart and Aileen Asbury. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and also was retired Civil Service from Robins Air Force Base as a Lab Technician. Mr Asbury was a lifelong fan of baseball and the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and model ship building, but nothing matched his love for the family’s Great Danes: Miss Maggie and Daisy. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Asbury and Gene Asbury. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Betty Sue Asbury, Warner Robins; two children, Julie Asbury and Lee Asbury both of Warner Robins.
