Warner Robins, GA- Charles W. Copeland passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Mr. Copeland was born in Easley, SC on June 3, 1922 to the late Louis and Lela Copeland. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a retiree from Robins Air Force Base after thirty six years of civilian service for the United States Air Force. Mr. Copeland also worked for Marconi Avionics of Atlanta, GA from November 1982 until October 1956. He also served in Japan for three years as well as the Naval Air Station in South Weymouth, MA for two years. Mr. Copeland was a loving husband to the late Sara G. Copeland and a generous and wonderful father to his children. He will greatly be missed. Survivors include- one son, Charles W. (Diane) Copeland Jr; one daughter, Gail (David) Battle; five step grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Singleton.
