Warner Robins, GA- Alyce Aleen Peevy Parker, 84, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:00AM at First United Methodist Church Warner Robins, GA. The family will greet friends immediately after the service. A private burial service will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery. Mrs. Parker was born on October 19, 1931 in McKenzie, Alabama to the late Alvie W. and Esstell Gomillion Peevy. She served in the United States Air Force for three years as a nurse. She was a Houston Medical Center Hospital Volunteer, and held membership in the United Methodist Women, First United Methodist Church, and choir. She enjoyed cooking and making crafts. She was a homemaker, loving wife, and mother who will be greatly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband, William W. Parker. She is survived by her daughter Patrice Parker Strader (Steve) of Warner Robins; son Paul Everett Parker (Susan) of Florida; Grandchildren, Michael Strader of Atlanta, Matthew Strader of Statesboro, Sarah and Phillip Parker of Florida; and sister, Willodean Peevy Smith (Bill) of Texas.
