Centerville, GA: Robert E. Rouse, 81, passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 in a local hospital. Services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in the Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Rouse was born in Lincolnton, NC, to the late Roy Rouse and Arabelle Holt. He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church in Macon. For over 25 years, Mr. Rouse was associated with the South Macon Baseball Park, where he was a former board member and baseball coach. He was a retired salesman with the Cherokee Brick and Tile Company and a member of the Macon Home Builders Association. Mr. Rouse was a veteran of the United States Navy and the W.W.II conflict. Survivors include his wife Margaret H. Rouse of Centerville, sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Beth Rouse of Macon, Bruce Rouse of Centerville and Keith Amy Rouse of Macon, two grandchildren, Lexi and Abby Rouse and one grandson Chase Rouse all of Macon. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
