Osvaldo "Ozzie" Rene Pinzon
August 29th, 1953 - September 15th, 2020
Osvaldo "Ozzie" Rene Pinzon, 67, passed away Tuesday September 15, 2020 of a massive heart attack near his home in Los Lunas, NM. Ozzie was born in the Republic of Panama-Panama City, Panama but was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, NM and more recently Los Lunas, NM. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a young man before meeting his devoted wife of 47 years, Zeida "Mimi". Ozzie and Mimi settled down in Albuquerque NM where they raised their four children and built several beautiful memories. He coached his children in little league, took them on several fishing trips, traveled with them yearly to his billiards tournaments in Las Vegas, NV, and sang to them often at Karaoke nights. He loved Karaoke and is known throughout Albuquerque as a beloved KJ. In addition to his four children Ozzie became a segregate father to many lost teens, many without a father of their own. He was always known as kind and generous and welcomed anyone who needed shelter, love and support. He loved his family and was an amazing grandfather, always going above and beyond for his grandkids. Ozzie Is survived by devoted wife of 47 years Zieda "Mimi" Pinzon as well as his Children: Rene Pinzon (Jules), Brianna Pinzon (Marquee), Boly Pinzon (Monique), Grand Children: Anthony (Holly), Lorenzo, Hannah, Gabriel, Camille, Jimmy, Violet, Damian, Julian, Julianna, Isaiah, Onecia, Nikki, Geobella, Carlos, Baby Ezailya, Great Grandchildren: Aaliyah and Zayden, Siblings: Rudolpho "Rudy" Pinzon, Maria "Lulu" Segura, Joe Segura, and many Nieces and Nephews and great Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Elia Segura and Jose Segura, Beloved Son: Osvaldo "Oz" Pinzon Jr., Granddaughter: Angelina Peters, and Son-in-Law: Leroy Zamora.
