Hollis W. Decker

Warner Robins, GA: Hollis W. Decker, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in Perry, GA. Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in the Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 10 AM until 11 AM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Decker was a native of Carlisle, PA. He was the son of the Hollis Albert Decker and Romaine Nickel. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and attended the Christ United Methodist Church in Warner Robins. He retired from the United States Army after serving for 27 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 6605 and a member of the American Legion 172. Mr. Decker was a mason in the Blue Lodge in Carlisle Consistory in Huntsville, AL. He was on the Warner Robins Police Reserves and the Houston County Sheriff Department Reserves. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Christine Decker of Warner Robins, son Randy Decker of Hopewell, VA, daughters Patty L. Herb of Warner Robins and Carolyn R. Decker of Huntsville, AL, sister Alice Lackey of Collinsville, IL, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home of Warner Robins, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
